André Benjamin was born and raised in Southern California and has lived in the Bay Area for nearly 25 years. After spending 15 years in the corporate world, several years ago he decided to work in a field he truly enjoys–education. Andre’ loves working with children and having a positive role in their lives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communications from San Francisco State University, and has even worked at a few local television stations as a writer/producer. Andre’ is also an accomplished pianist, but what he truly loves is working with first graders at The Carey School.  He believes in the old saying, “Happiness is getting up in the morning, and doing what you enjoy doing”!
