Michele Zirelli, First Grade Teacher
Michele Zirelli was born and raised in San Francisco, and she has remained in the Bay Area. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in Liberal Studies and her multi subjects teaching credential from San Francisco State University. Following graduation, she taught second grade at The Discovery Center School in San Francisco and kindergarten at John Thomas Dye in Los Angeles. In 1989, she was hired as a first grade teacher at The Carey School, where she has brought joy and enthusiasm to the many students whom she has taught. She believes that first grade should be fun, creative, enriching and challenging. Michele is married with one daughter, who is a student at St. Francis High School. Her hobbies include cycling, snow and water skiing, gardening, hiking, and swimming.
