Sharon Bloom received her B.A. in English and her teaching degree from the University of San Francisco. She has a life teaching credential. Sharon has previously taught high school, junior high school, and has substituted in many grammar schools in the San Mateo area. Sharon has been teaching 5th grade at The Carey School since 1997.   She loves teaching and preparing her students for the transition into junior high school.

Sharon is an avid 49er fan! She has two children. One is getting a Ph.D and the other one is a high school Spanish teacher with a Masters Degree.
