Madame Sherry Anoush is the pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade French teacher at The Carey School. She has lived in the United States for over 25 years. She studied French since the age of 4 at the Joan of Arc Catholic school in Tehran, Iran. She received her bachelor degree in French Literature from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, with a Cum Laude honor, and her early childhood education from University of Pennsylvania. Sherry started her teaching career as a teaching assistant in the French department at the Notre Dame de Namur University. She then moved on to teaching in the San Mateo School District. She has always enjoyed teaching privately to groups and individuals of all ages and all levels with an interest in learning the language.  She is also a busy mom with three children.
