Zita Agazzi teaches Spanish to the pre-kindergarten through second grade students. Zita taught Spanish and French as a long-term substitute teacher at Carey, back in 2003. Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Zita holds credentials from Argentina, and she is a certified translator and interpreter for French and Spanish languages, earning a diploma issued by the Ministère de l’ Éducation Nationale de la République Française. Zita also holds certificates for Teaching English as a Foreign as well as a Second Language (TEFL/TESL) from UC Santa Cruz. Zita taught all levels of Spanish in independent schools around the Bay Area, coming to Carey after teaching middle school Spanish at The Redwood Day School for three years. Trained in Mel Levine’s “All Kinds of Minds, Schools Attuned Program”, Zita brings a deep understanding of how children learn to her teaching. A native of Argentina, she is equally excited to share her culture with our community.
