Getting Involved

It is always fun and rewarding to get involved with The Carey School and the Alumni Association. The Carey School Alumni Program provides alumni with lots of opportunities to stay involved. Current students and families will greatly appreciate your help in making their experience at The Carey School more memorable and enjoyable.


Alumni Night

Remember 5th grade when you are getting ready for middle school, and did not know what to expect? Remember the time when you could not decide which schools were a better match for you? You could make help the current 5th graders by talking to them about your experience in middle school. Tell them about your middle school to help 5th graders decide if it is a good match for them. And most important of all, help them prepare for the transition into middle school, a very important stage in their lives.


There is 1 Alumni Night each year held in the spring. Please email Lisa Fowler, Director of Advancement, at if you want to share your experience at the Alumni Night.


Career Talks

You have completed college and are enjoying your career, and The Carey School students want to hear all about it. Come to the school and tell students about why you decided to do what you are doing, and how did you arrive there. Share with the students all the excitement you experience at your work. Class and School Representatives

Be a class representative for your class and help your classmates stay connected. Help your class stay in touch with each other and The Carey School. Help us encourage your classmates through email and phone call to attend alumni-related events.


Or you can be a school representative, the initial reference point for your fellow Carey School graduates when they first arrive at your school. You can help them navigate around their new school and help ensure a smooth transition for them. Reference for Prospective Students

Alumni Project and Event Chairs

We always welcome volunteers who wish to chair an alumni related events or initiate and plan an alumni related project. We also appreciate alumni involvement in school related events. Articles Contribution

We are inviting our alumni to send us articles for The Carey School publications to give their points of view. These articles could be about their time at The Carey School, or simply about the last alumni event that they attended.
