- Construction work from 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. (per city ordinance)
- General noise during work hours will be forklift moving material around, hammering, cutting, etc.
Week of 8/3/26 Construction Updates:
- Upcoming Work
- Remaining foundation pour from PGE gas line Cut/Cap on Tuesday 8/4, Completion of Stem Wall form work/close up prior to Concrete Placement on Friday 8/7.
- Noisy Work
- Equipment operation from telehandler and backup noises (8/4 and 8/7 expect heavy activity day due to concrete truck deliveries).
- Dusty Work
- Dust Control will be maintained onsite for concrete deliveries on Tuesday 8/4 and Friday 8/7.
- Major Deliveries
- Concrete Pour 8/4, only 1 truck at 1 PM. Friday 8/7 will be multiple trucks throughout day (7:30 A.M. first truck, then deliveries staggered following drop off of school). Friday’s concrete pour should be done by 11 AM.
Week of 8/10/26 Construction Updates:
- Upcoming Work
- On-site work will intel of in building underground excavation/installation of Electrical and Plumbing utilities. Off-site, we will be starting the excavation and installation of the Storm Drain line to the driveway of Big Carey School, and PGE Joint Trench.
- Noisy Work
- Concrete chipping/concrete saw cutting out in the street close to the driveway of Big Carey; machinery on site excavating trenches for in building utilities.
- Dusty Work
- Dust Control will be maintained onsite for all excavation of under slab utilities, and offsite in the street.
- Major Deliveries
- Monday will be 3 separate equipment deliveries and miscellaneous material deliveries, minimal deliveries throughout the week.
Week of 8/15/26 Construction Updates:
- Upcoming Work
- Completing backfill of Storm Drain excavation in front of jobsite entrance, starting with Joint Trench excavation afterwards. Completing Plumbing underground inside of building footprint Monday afternoon proceeding with rock and rebar placement to prepare for Slab On Grade concrete pour the following week.
- Noisy Work
- Concrete chipping/concrete cutting outside of project fence line for PGE joint trench, Machinery offsite excavating trench. Tele-belt system will be on site Tuesday for SOG rock delivery/placement.
- Dusty Work
- Dust Control will be maintained onsite for all deliveries, and offsite in the street.
- Major Deliveries
- Monday, small flatbed trailer with building SOG rebar. Tuesday will be multiple deliveries of dump trucks dropping crushed gravel for backfill.
Week of 8/24 Construction Updates:
- Upcoming Work
- Monday, completing backfill of PGE Joint Trench excavation in front of jobsite entrance & remove trench plates for temp sidewalk restoration before first day of school. Completing rebar tying for Slab on Grade concrete pour for Wednesday 8/26 @ 9am. On site PGE Joint Trench excavation and inspections to be on going next week.

- Backfilling of PGE Joint Trench, concrete pump for placement, backup alarms on concrete trucks.
- Dusty Work
- Dust Control will be maintained onsite for all deliveries, and site activities.
- Major Deliveries
- Wednesday 8/26 will be the Slab on Grade concrete pour. Roughly 9 concrete trucks total will be in and out for the delivery/placement of cement. First truck will be arriving at 9am and completing between 11:30am-12pm. Miscellaneous small deliveries throughout the week. It has been made clear to all trades that school is starting back up, and that all deliveries moving forward are to be around The Carey Schools drop off and pickup time frame.
