Carey's campuses are conveniently located in the city of San Mateo, California on the mid-peninsula of the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Situated close to Highway 92, Carey is easily accessible from the 101 and 280 freeways. Our two campus are a short 1.4 miles from each other on Alameda de las Pulgas.

Parking & Check-In
Main Campus
Parking is generally available on Alameda de las Pulgas and on La Salle Drive, the circle at the entrance to Carey School Lane. Please be aware that parking is not allowed in the circle from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Parking is also not permitted on Alameda de las Pulgas (between 20th and 22nd Avenues), from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to accommodate the car pick-up line.
Once you park, please enter the campus through the pedestrian gate on Alameda de las Pulgas. Use the call box on the fence to reach the receptionist to be buzzed in.
Please check in with the receptionist in the front office to sign in and receive your visitor badge. Your host will meet you in the front office. Enjoy your visit!
Preschool Campus
Parking is available in the Transfiguration Episcopal Church parking lot or on the streets surrounding the church. Once in the parking lot, the entrance to the preschool is towards 39th Avenue. Please wait for a staff member to open the gate for you.
