• Let’s Play, Let’s Code, Let’s Dance: $605 per session. Lunch included. ($484 for Session 2)

• Afternoon Extended Care: $50 per week

• Camp sessions may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.
• Camp sessions may be canceled on or before April 1, 2024 for a 75% refund of the registration fee, less a $15 processing fee. 
• Camp sessions may be canceled on or before June 1, 2024 for a 50% refund of the registration fee, less a $15 processing fee.
• We cannot issue refunds for cancellations after June 1, 2024.

Join us at Let’s Play where we believe play is the best teacher! Our engaging play-based activities are created to spark curiosity and inspire exploration for all campers. A week at Let's Play includes STEM and art projects inspired by our weekly themes, endless games and outdoor activities, and all of our weekly highlights from Park Day to Water Day. Campers will look forward to fresh and exciting activities each day, while embracing the traditions that define the Camp Carey experience. At the end of each week, campers will have a blast at our Friday Funday assembly, showcasing what they've created, enjoying silly competitions, and participating in a camp-wide celebration! Each session of camp offers a new and interesting theme to keep campers coming back for more!

Session 1: Super-Mission!

Unleash the superhero within at Super-Mission! week, where every camper is a caped crusader on a quest for fun and adventure! Join us for a week filled with action-packed games and imaginative missions. On this heroic journey, campers will have the opportunity to craft their own superhero gear, participate in physical and mental challenges, and discover their hidden powers! Our special event will be the ultimate superhero training experience: inflatable obstacle courses from Bay Area Jump! Grab your cape and meet us at Camp Carey - we need your help to save the day! 

Session 2: Winter in July (PLEASE NOTE: Camp will be closed on Thursday, July 4.)

Chill out and beat the summer heat with Camp Carey’s Winter in July week! Campers will enjoy a variety of winter-themed outdoor games, STEM projects, and crafts. From creating artificial snow to designing and building custom gingerbread structures, campers will embrace the magic of winter while enjoying the balmy days of July!  Our special guest will be Mad Science with a wintry workshop all about the wonders of dry ice. Leave the snow gear at home and join us for this unique summer experience! 

Session 3: Roaming Wild

Get ready for an adventure at Roaming Wild week! Join us for an immersive outdoor experience designed for young explorers. We’ll spend this week discovering the natural world around us, from the local flora and fauna to the awe-inspiring ecosystems in our own backyard. Campers will enjoy outdoor games, eco-friendly art projects, scavenger hunts, and more. Our special guests will be the remarkable reptile ambassadors from Things That Creep! Come prepared to roll up your sleeves and get a little messy as we explore the great outdoors. 

Session 4: Eagle Engineers

Soar to new heights during Eagle Engineers week! Immerse yourself in a fun-filled week of designing, building, and testing with hands-on experiments that require teamwork, problem-solving, and imagination. Campers will fuse innovation with critical thinking skills to tackle challenges that range from building bridges and structures to making simple tools and machines.  Our special guest will be Bay Area Discovery Museum’s very own Try It Truck, the engineering lab on wheels! Unleash your inner engineer with a week dedicated to crafting and constructing! 

Session 5: Carey's Got Talent

Who’s got talent? Carey’s Got Talent! Calling all cup stackers, cartwheelers, and comedians! Unleash your star power and embrace the spotlight during this show-stopping week! Join us for ultimate creativity and collaboration, as camp groups work together to craft costumes, props, and performances. Using their unique talents and limitless imaginations (with a dash of hot glue), campers will dream up dazzling displays to share with the entire camp. Campers will take a field trip to San Carlos Children’s Theater to be inspired by their all-youth production of The Spongebob Musical! The week culminates in an unforgettable showcase at our Friday Funday assembly. 

Session 6: Olympic Kidz

Go for gold at Olympic Kidz week! Get ready to run, jump, and play your way to the podium in this exciting camp, inspired by the Olympic spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Campers will be challenged in a variety of fun and friendly competitions, team-building exercises, and hands-on projects, with an emphasis on sports and games. To celebrate the debut of this year's newest Olympic sport, breaking, campers will enjoy a workshop and show by local breakdance performers! Join us as we celebrate the 2024 Summer Olympics at Camp Carey - where every camper is a champion. 

Session 7: Ocean Odyssey

Climb aboard the S.S. Carey Voyager for Ocean Odyssey week! Campers will dive into an ocean of excitement with aquatic-themed activities, games, and projects. We’ll discover the mysterious creatures, both real and imaginary, that call the deep blue sea their home. From squids to sharks and pirates to mermaids, this week is sure to cause a splash! Our special guests will be the aquatic animal ambassadors from Marine Science Institute. Join us as we wave goodbye to summer in this final fun-filled week of camp!

• Grades: Rising 1 - 5

Join us at Let’s Code, where innovation meets imagination! Explore the wide world of technology and see why we believe that every camper is a coder. During this camp, your child will learn valuable coding skills using Tynker, Scratch, and other kid-friendly platforms. With instruction and guidance from our knowledgeable staff, campers will be given challenges that are tailored to their level, so beginners, intermediates, and experts are welcome! Coding participants will also take part in various camp-wide events and activities throughout the week, like Water Day and Park Day. Our coding curriculum builds on previous lessons and levels, so coders are encouraged to return for multiple sessions.

• Grades: Rising 1 - 5

Join us at Let’s Dance, where we celebrate expression through movement! Dancers of all levels will learn through rhythmic exploration, vibrant choreography, and unforgettable fun. In Let’s Dance, campers will take center stage to create their own choreographed dance routine. Guided by our skilled and enthusiastic dance instructors, campers will work collaboratively to craft dance magic! After rehearsing and perfecting, dancers will reveal their routine at our Friday Funday assembly, where they will perform together for the entire camp! In addition to moving and grooving, dance participants will take part in various camp-wide events and activities throughout the week, like Water Day and Park Day. New choreography will be taught each week, so dancers can enjoy this camp again and again!

• Grades: Rising 6 - 9

Join us at Let’s Lead, Carey’s Counselor in Training (CIT) Program, where aspiring leaders thrive! With a focus on leadership development, CITs will have fun and make friends while building transferable skills like goal setting, group management, and effective communication. Participants will rotate between collaborative learning with their peer cohort, supporting counselors with campers and activities, and creating camp magic behind-the-scenes. CITs will be mentored by Camp Carey experts so that they feel confident engaging with campers, assisting counselors, and designing and leading their own activities. Join us for a week of growth, friendship, and memories that will create a lasting impact for CITs and Camp Carey alike!

Camp Carey offers morning and afternoon Extended Care beyond the regular camp hours.  Extended Care offers a mix of indoor and outdoor free-choice activities, as well as structured group games and projects when numbers allow. 

Morning Extended Care will be available from 8:00-9:00 a.m, at no additional charge. Afternoon Extended Care will be available from 3:30-5:00 p.m. for an additional $50 per week per child. Parents can add afternoon Extended Care to their child's camp registration at enrollment.  

PLEASE NOTE: Late pick-ups after 3:40 p.m. will result in enrollment in afternoon Extended Care, which will be billed at $50 per week.
