NEW Alumni Night - April 18
The Carey School would like to invite all 5th graders to Alumni Night on Wednesday, April 18th from 6 pm – 7 pm. This is an evening where we celebrate our returning 6th graders and our graduating 5th graders with a 6th grade student-led panel discussion and Q&A format. Students will be answering questions as part of a panel on how the transition to middle school has been and all those questions on our mind about homework, lunch and new lockers.
This fun evening of discussions, peer networking, and games is intended for students only. Dinner will be served.
Kindly RSVP by Friday, April 6th to Tracy White, Development Director, at email@example.com. A few volunteer opportunities for parents will be available! Please check the volunteer portal, if you are interested in volunteering.
Class Placement Feedback Form
If you are interested in sharing feedback regarding class placement for next year, please use this form. At Carey, we know parents know their children best, and we want to use your knowledge to inform our process in building classes for next year. Please note that although we do not accept teacher requests, we do greatly appreciate knowledge about your child and the types of environments in which you've seen them thrive. To have information you share be considered, please make sure to return this form to Neely's box or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, April 6th.
Art Week Help Schedule is on the Volunteer Portal Now!
CAREY'S SCHOOL ANNUAL ART WEEK & EXHIBITION IS APPROACHING! We need volunteers to help pin up our kid's art on April 27. Mr. Difley also needs parent volunteers to help with simple tasks like cutting, labeling, filing, mounting and organizing the artwork throughout the week before the art show. (Help needed April 16 thru April 26, 2018 in the Hall of Feathers in the morning.) Absolutely NO artistic skills required! The time commitment is flexible, so even if you only have 30 minutes it will be a big help! Please sign up on the volunteer portal today: Carey Volunteer Portal (Art Week's Schedules are toward the bottom of all the Art Tasks).
Need to talk to an After Care teacher or running late? No worries.
