Giving helps our community thrive. Your support makes a difference

Welcome to Carey’s philanthropic community.

Carey can offer everything it does – our rich curriculum, great teaching, inspiring spaces for our students and faculty, and a diverse and inclusive community – because we all join in supporting them. As is the case at most independent schools, tuition at Carey does not cover the full cost of educating each student. We are fortunate to have a community of great generosity, in which nearly all of our parents, trustees, faculty, and staff give gifts of time, talent, and financial resources every year.

Our giving program is distributed throughout the year to provide many opportunities to be involved. It includes fun, community-building events like Walkfest and auction; periodic campaigns for major facilities needs; graduating class gifts to the school’s endowment and the workhorse of our giving program, The Carey Fund, which we call "our annual fund to live by."

We remain extremely grateful to all our donors. We strongly believe that Every Gift Matters and makes a difference. Philanthropic gifts of any size are essential to helping us live out our mission and ensure that a Carey education is accessible to all those who believe in our mission and share our values.
