Thank you for your interest in The Carey School. Our faculty, staff, parents, and students are excited for you to learn more about our dynamic and welcoming school community. We are equally excited to learn about you and your goals for your child’s educational journey.

Our priority in Admission is to create a diverse community of curious, confident, and joyful learners who will both flourish in and enrich the Carey experience. This includes students with a range of interests, personalities, and experiences. Therefore, during our admission process, we seek to learn about the whole child from a variety of sources – the online application, parent interview, feedback from the student’s previous teacher, and observation of the student during one of our visit days.

Year after year, this thoughtful process results in a vibrant, mutually supportive community where students have the confidence to take risks and be themselves, and where teachers, staff, and parents become invaluable partners in helping children reach their fullest potential.
